Radisson Hotel Group Spain plans to open a new hotel in Andorra. The hotel is located in the city’s capital, Andorra la Vella, just minutes from the main shopping street, as well as the most popular ski slopes and the largest thermal areas in Europe.

 

The 180-room hotel is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2021 under the Radisson umbrella, following an extensive renovation. With a restaurant open all day, several meeting rooms and many social areas, the hotel is the perfect starting point for guests, both for pleasure and business, looking to visit the nearby shopping district, enjoy the activities of winter or visit the Caldea spa.

Valerie Schuermans, Vice President of Business Development, at the Radisson Hotel Group announced the arrival of the Andorra brand, increasing its presence to nine operational and developing hotels in the region. “The Radisson brand will allow us to reposition the hotel in the luxury segment and capitalize on the international knowledge of the brand. Andorra is a well-known and popular destination for travelers looking for skiing adventures and winter sports activities. A short drive from the hotel, guests can enjoy 320 km of ski slopes in Grandvalira, Vallnord and Naturlandia. One of the main attractions of the city, which receives about 400,999 visitors annually, is the Caldea spa. The spa, which is the largest thermal area in southern Europe, is just 150 meters from the hotel. Just outside the hotel, guests can enjoy Andorra’s most popular shopping area. Andorra’s trade is known throughout Europe, thanks to the almost 1,400 stores and the quality of its projects. As well as their competitive prices. Andorra’s natural environment includes the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Cultural Landscape category.
