A walking country of 468km2 with 65 Mountain Peaks and 172 lakes, of which the largest the Lake of Juclar (23ha). Lowest point: 840m (at the Spanish Border) Highest Point: 2.942m (Peak of the Comapedrosa).
Andorra's climate is very similar to the neighbors’ temperate climates, but its higher elevation means there is, on average, more snow in winter, lower humidity, and it is slightly cooler in summer. There are, on average, 300 days per year of sunshine. According to the WWF, the territory of Andorra belongs to the eco region of Pyrenees Conifer and Mixed Forests. (Image by Marco Mijares)
